After School Clubs
At Greenfields we offer several opportunities for children to get involved in activities after school. Whether your child is into Sport, ICT or Dance there are various activities available.
Sport and Dance
Afterschool sports are available after school most evenings, and these enables the children to learn a variety of different sports. These include football, hockey and netball in the winter months, and tennis and cricket during the summer. The children get the opportunity to compete with other schools in some of these sports. There is also a Dance class on Tuesday evenings which is very popular.
Orchestra is a free club that is open to all children who have been playing an instrument for more than 1 year. Sorry, but we do not have keyboards in our Orchestra.
Dance Club is run by Gremlin Dance and the form can be downloaded HERE
French Club is run by Mrs Hole and the form can be downloaded here.
ICT Club is run by Mrs Moseley and allows children in years 4 - 6 to learn a bit more about ICT, maybe do a bit of programming and also have fun.
Trailblazers is a popular and regularly over-subscribed after school club that promotes outdoor learning and environmental education. Mrs Clark and Mr Lynch have been trained to lead a range of activities making good use of our school grounds. Trailblazers have earned the Bronze Green Tree Award through the Woodland Trust and hope to earn Silver and Gold Awards before the end of this academic year.
Activities run every afternoon from 3.35 – 4.35pm and children can be collected from the hall/ICT suite at the end of the session. If anything changes the session leader will advise you.
